What is AHE?

Auckland Home Educators is a regional organisation – here to help you in your homeschooling journey or to provide information for those interested in this path.

We are here to advocate for home education.  Home education is a valid (excellent!) educational choice for New Zealand families and supported by the Ministry of Education.

We help support learning and connect homeschooling families through regional events such as the Science Fair, Cross Country, Parent Forums etc.  (See our events page for more details.)

Auckland Homeschool Expo

 

We invite all out members to come and attend The Auckland Homeschool Expo, which is being held on the Saturday 29th March 2025.

After running successfully in the Bay of Plenty last year in November the Homeschool Expo is coming to Auckland on the 29th of March! This event is open to all with something for everyone including a soccer demonstration. (Info attached below).

This is a great opportunity for everyone in the Homeschool Community to come along mix and mingle, meet volunteers, organisations and support groups who are doing some great work in our community. 

You will also be able to meet in person Coaching experts, (Cynthia Hancock, Sheena Harris), representatives from NCHENZ, Auckland Home Educators, and various exhibitors including sports and curriculum providers, tutors, local activity providers etc.
 
There will also be info sessions with a number of key NZ Homeschool experts who will be travelling from all over the North and South Island. So do not miss this great experience and get your early bird tickets today.
